A valid driver’s license issued by the State where the applicant resides, and insurability as defined in UTS 157 may be required to perform the position's essential functions.
The Director of Video Film & Operations will report directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and oversee all aspects of a Division I Intercollegiate Basketball Program. As a video coordinator, your job duties include traveling with the team for away games, operating the video camera and equipment, using video editing software to compile breakdowns of specific plays or techniques, and assisting with all technology needs.
Essential Functions
Oversees scheduling, recruiting, travel coordination, practice times, shoot arounds, game day prep, budget management, academics, compliance and fundraising for the entire program.
Demonstrates effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and questions specific to collegiate athletic teams.
Abides by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of Texas System.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and compliance with NCAA Rules and Regulations, including attendance of NCAA Rules Seminars, and timely completion of all NCAA forms and requests for information.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all State and University policies.
Creating and assisting with recruiting content through photography, video, film, and graphic designs.
Assist head coach in day-day office needs.
Being able to use photo shop to create content.
Operating video camera and equipment, using video editing software to compile breakdowns of specific plays or techniques.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's objectives, policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
and
Experience: Two years of experience working in a college athletics setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree; professional work experience in a Division I athletics program.
