Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to support the various operations of the volleyball program. This will include but may not be limited to:

• Operational and administrative coordination in the areas of team travel/logistics
• Business operations and budget functions
• Facilities scheduling - both at our home venue and when traveling to away venues
• Community service opportunities
• Alumni relations
• Student-athlete support
• Social media content and execution

• Knowledge of policies and procedures

• Travel with team throughout entire fall/spring season

• Ability to handle high pressure situations utilizing

  • Problem solving skills
  • Effective and efficient organizational skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Effective communication - written, verbal and listening skills

• Maintain deadlines and manage multiple projects at once

• Knowledge of current social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)

• Work unconventional hours: nights, weekends and holidays

• Support the diversity, equity and inclusion commitments of the athletic department

• Organize and coordinate events and travel for large groups of people

• Connect with a diverse range of student-athletes, coaches, and staff

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year institution
• Experience working in athletics: player, coach or support personnel

Supplemental Information
