Working under the general oversight of the Women’s Basketball Head Coach, this position directs all non-coaching operations for the University of Idaho Basketball program. Serves as key member of the management team and is the primary decision maker for scheduling, organizing, planning, managing, and supervising activities and services related to Women’s Basketball operations. Coordinates and leads all non-coaching activities and daily operations including, but not limited to program scheduling, team travel, game day organization, recruiting, scholarships, and coordination of the relationships with internal administrators and staff and external constituents. This position is the primary point of contact for the program, with authority and accountability for program operations. This position is responsible for developing, managing and monitoring the program budgets and contracts and is routinely expected to commit departmental resources and resolve complex issues.
The position reports directly to the Women’s Head Basketball Coach and directs all Women’s Basketball coaches in all operational activities of the program. This position must develop and maintain compliance with all

, conference and university rules and regulations and must demonstrate a high level of professional integrity.

Position Qualifications
| Required Experience |
- One year experience with a collegiate basketball program (playing, coaching, assisting)

- Bachelor’s Degree

- This position requires extensive travel
|
| Additional Preferred |
- Philosophy and work ethic which provides a good fit with the Head Coach and current university staff
- Experience in managing event logistics; developing, recommending, and evaluating written materials such as contracts, policies and procedures; devising and implementing solutions to problems; gathering, assembling, correlating and analyzing facts
- Knowledge of recruiting process
- Acting as liaison with various constituents
- Strong written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and document key aspects of the recruiting process
- Experience in directing and managing travel for large groups
- Experience negotiating contracts and/or acting as liaison with outside vendors
- Strong verbal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high volume, high stress environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with NCAA, conference and university rules and regulations
