Athletics Administration - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23008846)

 

The University of Pittsburgh’s Athletic Department is currently seeking a qualified Director of Women’s Soccer Operations. Duties include planning and administration of Pitt’s Women’s Soccer team as well as editing and analyzing game film. Coordinating with appropriate staff the aspects necessary to operate a Women’s Soccer program. Coordinating all travel logistics (including aircraft, ground transportation, lodging, and meals) for home and away contests. Coordinating all logistical aspects for home and away practices and games for the team and staff. Assists with all team-related events. Assists with tracking the academic performance and progress of the student-athletes. Aids in housing needs for student-athletes. Assists with recruiting, including mailings to prospective student-athletes and aiding in official visits. Other duties as assigned by the head coach relating to the day-to-day operations of a Division I Women’s Soccer program.

 

Job Summary

Oversees day-to-day operations of the University’s soccer program and assists with uniform/equipment ordering and inventory tracking. Coordinates all logistical aspects for travel, practices, and games. Assists to prepare and maintain the annual soccer budget and performs related financial duties. Participates in event planning, recruiting, and administrative activities.

Essential Functions 

Responsible for planning and logistics of Pitt’s Women’s Soccer program. Serves as a liaison with other departments. Prepares and maintains the annual Women’s Soccer budget. Coordinates with appropriate staff the aspects necessary to operate a Women’s Soccer program. Coordinating all travel logistics for home and away contests. Assists with preparing game film for review by the coaching staff. Assists with tracking the academic performance and progress of the student-athletes; Aids in housing needs for student-athletes. Assists with recruiting, including mailings to prospective student-athletes and aiding in official visits. Other duties assigned by the Head Coach.
