The Director of Player Development is responsible for but not limited to assisting the head coach and the operations staff with video and technology operations and film exchange. This position will also assist the coaching staff with daily needs to help execute program and other miscellaneous tasks which include but not limited to preparing equipment, preparing the field for practice, and helping execute practice. Additionally, this position will assist and help coordinate Stanford baseball camps during the fall, winter and summer.  The position must develop a clear understanding of university policies and procedures and NCAA regulations to assure responsible decisions concerning the business of an intercollegiate athletic program.  Please note: This is a one-year renewable fixed-term position.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Compile video library of opponents and coordinate video analysis
  • Be responsible for all practice and game day technical equipment which includes tagging games via our video system and Pitchcom.
  • Assist coaches with game video preparation and scouting reports
  • Track and coordinate analytical data
  • Assist with general office projects as assigned to include recruiting mail-outs, clinic notes, and assisting coaches with answering email inquiries.
  • Assist with the preparation and management of day-to-day operations of camps and clinics.
