Directs the recruiting budget, all recruiting related travel, recruiting service utilization, all prospect visits to campus, and coordination with Admissions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages the recruiting operations staff and creative media
2. Responsible for assisting all incoming first-year students with the application process to KSU, housing, financial aid and any other needs and/or issues that may arise
3. Develops, implements, and manages the strategic planning process for recruiting prospective student-athletes
4. Serves as the liaison between all departments on all recruiting matters such as compliance, admissions, registrar
5. Oversees recruiting travel for all KSU coaching staff and prospective student-athletes (e.g., official visits, unofficial visits, etc.)
6. Coordinates recruiting correspondence with prospective student-athletes, high school and/or junior college coaches and other appropriate entities and/or parties
7. Cultivates, establishes, and maintains relationships with high school and/or junior college coaches and other appropriate entities and/or parties
8. Manages, and monitors the sport program¿s recruiting budget
9. Coordinates monitoring process for the NCAA transfer portal
10. Creates and maintains recruiting list and database and independently identifies, views, collects data and video, etc. on football prospects through available and permissible sources and provides direction, input, and makes recommendations to the Head Coach and coaching staff
11. Manages and executes all recruiting efforts, both official and unofficial campus visits, and game day recruiting programming
12. Creates and executes a 12-month recruiting calendar including the creation of mail, video, graphics, social media, and any other means of recruiting
13. Monitors permissible recruiting websites to provide updates and follow up on committed prospects and identify prospects for coaches
14. Monitors permissible social media to provide unique and specific graphic designs to aid in personalizing recruiting materials to prospective student-athletes

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Two (2) years of experience in collegiate or professional football
Â
Preferred Experience
Previous experience as either a Director of Player Personnel or comparable with an extensive background in evaluating and recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

KNOWLEDGE
Maintains a thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills.
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
