Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to maximize revenue through fundraising, corporate partnerships, and event management. Establishes and nurtures relationships with donors, alumni, and corporate entities, aligning support with the university and the Athletics Department's mission and values. Responsible for overseeing comprehensive revenue strategies and actively participating in budget management, significantly contributing to the growth and overall success of Kennesaw State University Athletics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and implements comprehensive ticketing strategies to drive revenue for Kennesaw State Athletics
2. Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with potential and existing donors, aligning contributions with the university's mission and Athletics Department values
3. Oversees ticketing revenue generation during athletic events
4. Introduces innovative ideas to enhance the fan experience and drive revenue opportunities
5. Works closely with finance teams to meet financial targets and objectives
6. Provides visionary leadership in the development of ticketing strategies
7. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of ticketing initiatives
8. Ensures all revenue generation activities comply with NCAA regulations and guidelines
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Three (3) years of experience related to the position
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Proven success in fundraising, corporate partnerships, and event management
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and compliance in relation to revenue generation
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of NCAA regulations and compliance in relation to ticket sales
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends.
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
