Job Summary

 

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Director, Sports Performance. The director will cultivate and lead a high-performance environment that supports the development, health and success of all UNG student-athletes through collaboration with sport coaches, sports medicine and sports performance staff. Develop and implement evidence-informed, sport specific strength and conditioning programs that enhance student athlete performance while establishing a consistent culture of preparation, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a leader and primary teacher of the sports performance staff, including the development and supervision of graduate assistant coaches.  Incumbent is frequently away from assigned work desk/phone due to official UNG work responsibilities or travel and requires real-time communication with others.
