Department Information
The Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports for the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Steeped in history and success while embracing strategic innovation, our programs compete at the highest level and strive for national championships. Tech fans are passionate about their support of their beloved Yellow Jackets and cherish the many traditions involved with the program.
Provide exemplary customer service to our fans as well as other departments within the GTAA (Georgia Tech Athletic Association). Work within our structure and mission to increase revenue through ticket sales and related fan experience platforms through industry-leading best practices. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance, and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations.
Job Duty 1 -
Manage ticket sales process and related Tech Fund for all ticketed sports
Job Duty 2 -
Lead ticketing operations for games for assigned sports.
Job Duty 3 -
Oversee contracts with ticket platform Paciolan as well as external vendors/partners
Job Duty 4 -
Lead the fulfillment of sales campaigns with external sales and retention units
Job Duty 5 -
Assist all other GTAA departments with various ticketing needs
Job Duty 6 -
Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance
Job Duty 7 -
Exhibit the GT Athletics core values of character, excellence, teamwork, and innovation. Promote these values throughout the organization with a focus on fulfilling the GT Athletics mission

Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience working NCAA Division I or major professional sports ticketing experience
Required Experience
Seven or more years of job-related experience
KNOWLEDGE
This job requires advanced knowledge of box office operations, customer service, and sales; advanced skills in organization, customer services, decision making, problem solving, written and verbal communication, strategic planning, budgeting, and negotiating
