Summary
The Director, Wrestling Operations primary role is to provide administrative and logistical support to the wrestling program and coaching staff. This position will manage/execute internal team operations and logistics including, but not limited to, team travel, team meals, on-campus recruiting, and off-campus recruiting for coaching staff. Additionally, this role will support our external efforts by designing/executing a social media strategy to increase followers and engagement across platforms.
Scope of Impact
The Director of Wrestling Operations will work directly with the coaching staff to ensure the Cadet-Athletes have an extraordinary experience at The United States Military Academy. Position will work on immediate needs of the program and provide value in many areas.
Level of Decision Making
This position will have a moderate level of decision making that will most often be exercised in planning/executing travel itineraries for team travel and recruiting visits.

Success in this position will be evaluated by the Supervisor on the employee’s performance in a variety of areas, including but not limited to: Commitment to AWPAA Mission, Vision and Values; and supporting the AWPAA Strategic Plan and Priority Results.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Interviewing, onboarding and providing direction to Wrestling team managers.

Perform duties in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
Travel
Day and overnight travel may occur for athletic team competitions, professional meetings, and other events associated with the operations of the Wrestling program and Army West Point Athletics.

Pay Range
$63,000-$70,000
