The Diving Coach is responsible for teaching the student athletes with respect to all facets of the
NCAA
Division I Women’s Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving program. The position reports directly to the Head Coach. Duties include: poolside coaching during practices and meets; teaching a productive dry-land conditioning program; encouraging and promoting good academics; recruiting of top-quality student-athletes and other duties as assigned by the head coach. This position requires the Diving Coach to maintain compliance with all
NCAA
, conference, and university rules and regulations and must display professional integrity.

Position Qualifications
| Required Experience |
- Diving experience at the College, High School or club level
- Diving coach experience at the College, High School or club level

| Required Education |
- Bachelor’s Degree
|
| Required Other |
- Must be able to travel regularly
- Work non-standard hours and occasional weekends
|
| Additional Preferred |
- Master’s Degree
- Intercollegiate competitive experience as a diver
- Ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes at the NCAA Div. I level
- Familiarity with Northwest recruiting areas
- Demonstrated public relations, organizational, and communication skills
- Solid computer skills relating to recruiting
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with NCAA, University, and Conference rules and regulations
- Able to work full-time and provide good references
- Coaching philosophy consistent or complimentary to that of existing head coach
