This position reports to the Head Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach. Responsible to the head coach for providing coaching expertise and leadership of the intercollegiate athletics women’s diving program; assisting the head coach in the effective management and administration of all aspects relating to a positive and beneficial intercollegiate experience for student-athletes; and recruiting to identify and cultivate academically qualified and highly skilled student-athletes. Organize the administration of the day-to-day operations in scheduling competition, event management, team travel plans, practice organization, and other administrative duties.
Candidate must display the highest of ethical standards, recruit qualified student-athletes and display a commitment to their academic success. Working knowledge and understanding of
NCAA
rules and procedures is necessary.
CPR
certification will be required within 90 days of start date. A current and valid
USA
Diving certification or
USA
Swimming Coaching is required at the time of appointment.
Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of coaching experience is required.
ICA-Swimming
Commensurate with education and experience.
