Job Description

Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Diving Coach and Aquatics Director. This is a full time, 12-month reporting position with benefits. The Diving Coach and Aquatics Director is responsible for all phases of managing a successful diving program and managing and programming the Jim Steen Natatorium during the academic year and summer months. This position reports to the Head Swimming and Diving Coach and supports the mission of the College in its focus on student development, outcomes and success. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, arranging travel, managing budgets, coaching, tracking equipment, developing alumni contacts, managing meets, teaching lifeguard certification classes, and hiring and supervising lifeguards.

It is also expected that the Diving Coach and Aquatics Director will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture.
