Job Description

This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position.Hours may vary by week depending on need.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides supervision and coaching for the WNC E-Sports program and club

• Recruits student-athletes, directs and manages practices, coordinates competitions and game day operations, organizes potetial travel schedules, and supervises team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, practices, and other events where the E-Sports team is represented.

• Fosters a positive team atmosphere

• Works closely with the Coordinator of Student Life to integrate E-Sport into the overall WNC student life experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current WNC Full or Part-time employee or community member

• Knowledge and experience with team-based multiplayer, online video games

• Experience with game titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, Smash Brothers, and Hearthstone

• Requires excellent relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be good at problem solving and organizational skills

• Experience with recruiting and marketing of the E-Sports
