Equipment & Facilities Coordinator will provide administrative and operational management to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities include exemplary customer service to internal and external constituencies, both in person and by telephone; preparing correspondence; purchasing and maintaining inventory of equipment, fixing equipment during practice and games, managing operations for all facilities and overseeing the overall quality of the facilities, equipment and uniforms. All staff members have a duty to cooperate with and furnish the NCAA, the conference office or the institution with truthful and complete information concerning involvement in or knowledge of rules violations. A staff member may be suspended or terminated if found to be involved in deliberate and serious violations of NCAA of CIAA regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Three (3) years experience in equipment and facility management is preferred.
The ability to interact with various levels of internal and external constituencies with an understanding of protocol, political environment and implications, and confidentiality. Flexibility to work independently within a highly visible and pressurized environment. Ability to demonstrate a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills in interactions with all institutional personnel and the outside community including fans, visitors, the press, prospective students, parents, and other constituencies. Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to utilize office equipment, facilities and materials needed tocomplete assigned tasks. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Evenings, weekends and travel required.
