Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Athletics, the Equipment & Event Operations Manager directs and manages the utilization of equipment for Intercollegiate Athletics; prepares areas (indoor and out) for practices, scheduled athletic contests, and designated special functions. This is a full-time, 40-hour a week position with a hiring range of $19-$21 an hour.
Specific Responsibilities
Prepare practice, game, intramural and instructional areas for practices, games and classes which could include the following:
Follow approved procedures to safely and securely store athletic equipment, uniforms and supplies.
Prepare cost estimate for supplies and equipment required for program operations.
Compile lists for the Bursar's Office for collection of fees for damaged or lost uniforms, equipment and/or supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise required by the nature of the position.
Abide by the code of ethics and policies set forth by McDaniel College and the NCAA.
Adhere to the policies of McDaniel College and the Department of Athletics.
Adhere to all NCAA, Centennial Conference, ECAC and sport rules and regulations.
Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely working in an athletic complex with some exposure to adverse conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Abilities/Physical Characteristics
This position requires the ability to lift, pull, push, and move objects in weight up to 50lbs regularly. Some time is spent performing manual labor. Specifically, this position requires the following.
