Apply NowPRIMARY FUNCTION: Manages all equipment room functions; supervises staff and manages all personnel functions; ensures equipment and apparel contract compliance; facilitates vendor relations and aids in university brand management; researches and advises coaches regarding equipment options and selections; orders and inventories all sports equipment to maximize department funds and in accordance with applicable guidelines; measures and properly fits each student-athlete’s equipment needs to ensure safety and NCAA compliance; and supervises repair and maintenance of equipment per NCAA regulations.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Bachelor's degree; at least one year of experience in athletic equipment management at the college level; and Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) certification or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire required. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Big 12 Conference (Wrestling), and the University of Northern Iowa.
