The Iowa State Athletics Department is seeking applications for the position of Event Operations Specialist. This position will work in a fast-paced environment and plan, coordinate and oversee multiple functions that support and enhance athletic competitions and auxiliary events hosted by the department. Duties may include:
The ideal candidates will be self-driven and results oriented with a strong focus on customer service. Candidates should be highly organized; possess strong listening, interpersonal and communication skills; have proven ability to work with regular interruptions and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and be a problem solver. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse clientele.
This job requires the ability to work at assigned evening and/or weekend events; ability to lift and move up to 30 poung; and ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

• Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals

• May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff
• May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity
• Provides guidance to students
