This position will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all military-related events between Student Affairs, Athletics,
ROTC
, AU Band, the Department of Defense, and the AU Veterans Resource Center.

Responsible for selecting and Implementing the Game Day Hero recognition program for all AU Athletics events. The selection process is for Veteran Alumni and Student Veterans only.
Responsible for all coordination of the Military Appreciation game for all Athletics events at Auburn University. Acts as liaison with the President’s Suite for all home football games.
Organize all fly-over activities for home football games, including static displays of Aviation assets for public view, determining event budget, contacting Pentagon Public Affairs, securing necessary permits and clearances from the
FAA
and local authorities, coordinating with the appropriate military unit and the stadium crew, promote the fly-over, ensure all appropriate safety precautions are followed, creating a weather contingency plan, and executing a fly-over rehearsal before the game.
Acts as liaison with the Office of the President, Auburn Athletics, Auburn
ROTC
for events that Involve military affairs.
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the Veterans Golf Classic and the Veterans Gala.

Level I: Bachelor’s degree
Level II: Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience in event planning, public relations, hospitality, and general office operations.
Level III: Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years experience in event planning, public relations, hospitality, and general office operations. |
