The primary responsibility is to provide executive-level administrative assistance, research, game day functions and general support to the department which manages 19 NCAA Division I sport programs. Minimum 2+ years relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage complex projects with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, including written, interpersonal and public speaking.
Assertive, resourceful and possessing the ability to handle multiple tasks in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Maintain an openness to adopting new technologies and applying them effectively in support of departmental goals and objectives.
Commitment to developing a strong working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, establishing knowledge of the operational and compliance requirements of NCAA Division I athletics programs.
Occasional evenings and weekend work will be required.
