About the Role
The Executive Director, Athletics and Recreation provides executive-level leadership to lead the transformation of SFU’s Athletics and Recreation programs, creating alignment with institutional goals and the academic mission, and ensuring long-term sustainability through revenue generation. The role develops and implements strategic plans and policies that enhance SFU’s reputation and impact as a university of choice for varsity sports, and represents the university nationally and internationally.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a relevant discipline and at least ten years of directly related executive-level experience leading the delivery of services and programs to students in a post-secondary environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The pay range is the span between the minimum and maximum base salary for the position. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum and represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications and experience for the position. In the normal course, employees will be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
