Position Overview
The External Relations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the marketing and ticketing efforts for the Department of Athletics. The Coordinator will work closely with the External Relations team to ensure branding and messaging is accurate and in-line with the strategic vision of the department.

The External Relations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the marketing and ticketing efforts for the Department of Athletics. The Coordinator will work closely with the External Relations team to ensure branding and messaging is accurate and in-line with the strategic vision of the department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create marketing materials for campus signage, social media, in-game and other targeted areas.
Assist with outbound sales for ticketed sports.
Collaborate with various campus partners on strategic initiatives to engage and build robust attendances at home athletic events
Develop outreach efforts amongst area schools and youth groups
Willingness and ability to work nights/weekends, including non-traditional hours and holidays and travel with teams when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite products and software programs
Experience in managing student staff
Honesty and integrity
Strong multi-tasking, organization and time management skills.
Evidence of a strong commitment to and experience with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, preferably in a higher education setting.
