Job Overview

Reporting to the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach, the “Face-off Specialist Coordinator “will carry out all duties within the stated philosophy of Georgetown athletics and its educational mission, and will adhere to all institutional, Big East, and NCAA regulation to ensure the University’s compliance.  The primary purpose of this position is to provide general and sport specific coaching/support to the coaching staff of the men’s lacrosse program, including but limited to, the development, oversight, and implementation of programs/technical skills to support student athletes in the Georgetown men’s lacrosse program. A wide variety of lacrosse specific assignments will be completed on an as needed basis as well.  This position is responsible for assisting the coaching staff in the overall development of the men’s lacrosse program and student athletes, including directly assisting the coaching staff with the preparation, strategy and organization of information related to recruiting activities as well as involvement in on-campus recruiting activity and recruiting correspondence. This individual will assist in recruiting strategy, correspondence and coordination on campus recruiting efforts and campus and facility tours.

Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation

Reports to the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach.  The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach reports to the Director of Athletics.
