Job Description Summary:This position assists the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations and the Athletic Facilities Supervisor in the management and oversight of all athletic facilities and game management responsibilities. The selected individual will serve a critical role in the maintenance and upkeep of all Presbyterian College athletic facilities while ensuring that venues are prepared for all practices, competition, Conference, NCAA postseason and non-athletic events. Duties and Tasks:Additional duties include but are not limited to: lining playing fields, general upkeep and maintenance of athletic facilities, set-up, tear-down and in-game management responsibilities for athletic events, accommodating visiting teams and officials, assisting with game day parking/traffic plan, coordinating with administration and coaching staff as a game manager for select events and competitions, serving as a departmental liaison with various coaches and staff and assisting with special projects assigned by athletic department administration.Work Environment: Presbyterian College is a fully accredited, private, residential, baccalaureate institution related to the Presbyterian Church (USA). The College provides a liberal arts education within a community of faith, learning, and intellectual freedom. Required Knowledge Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education and experienceStrong Verbal Communication SkillsOperating and maintenance of paint machines and floor cleaning machinesBasic knowledge of field painting and maintenanceMaintain storage areas and moving of practice and gameday equipmentUtilize proper care and treatment of facilities, fields, and offices
Preferred education and experience (if applicable):Bachelor’s degree preferred. 1-2 years of direct experience directly related to the job functions.
