and Southwestern Athletic Conference, invites applicants for the position of Facilities Maintenance Repairer II. Under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations & Stadium Management, the Facilities Maintenance Repairer II will assume a variety of important maintenance duties in developing and carrying out department activities within the Division of Athletics. The work includes responsibility for analyzing maintenance needs, which requires the exercise of a high degree of independent judgment and interpretation.

| Job Duties and Responsibilities |
- Assist the Supervisor in the grooming and maintenance of all Athletic Fields (mowing, weed-eating, and other maintenance needs).
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Perform the application of chemical treatments for athletic fields and grounds at both Stadium and main campus.
- Prepare the football field for each game in accordance to MHSAA, NCAA and NFL rules and regulations.
- Barricade entrances and exists for traffic on event day.
- Preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment after football season by winterizing the Press Box and Restrooms.
- Maintenance of lights and fixtures throughout the Stadium.
- Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Preparation for events and supervising maintenance; and cleaning of restrooms, ticket booths, Press Box, First Aid Stations, and Concourse.
- Set up and remove athletic equipment for athletic events and put equipment away after events.
- Facilitate athletic areas in preparation for sporting events and contests, including laying out, line marking, watering, dragging, dressing, reconditioning, and grooming athletic fields, areas, and facilities.
- Maintain and inventory outdoor materials, supplies, athletic training and instructional equipment, and departmental grounds vehicles; order equipment as needed in a timely fashion.
- Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools.
- Utilizing insecticides, fertilizers, and chemical sprays to treat diseases.
- Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Conducting basic irrigation audits and performing basic irrigation repairs.
- Prepare facilities before the season starts.
- Perform related or similar duties as required or assigned.
