General Notes
This position may be required to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This job is not suitable for remote work and is expected to work regular on-site hours.
Purpose
To perform various demanding semiskilled manual tasks required in a fill service multipurpose public assembly facility.
Responsibilities
Responsible for cleaning interior spaces at all athletics facilities.
Assist with game day stadium and field set up at all Athletic facilities.
Stock restrooms prior to varsity sporting events.
Assist with oversight of temporary labor hired by the Athletic Department for special events.
Empty trash cans and sweep public areas at all Athletic facilities.
Assist with furniture moving.
Responsible for performing tasks required to set up before and clean up after professional entertainment events and private facility uses.
Responsible for performing tasks required for facility housekeeping.
Scrubs, sweeps, seals, vacuums and buffs floors.
Cleans office, restroom, dressing room, meeting room and seating areas.
Performs duties required to service center equipment and facilities.
Works closely and cooperatively in teams, groups and with others, including professional entertainer crews and crews from private facility users.

Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income. Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR. Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation. In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Texas Education Code Sec. 51.252, this position may be a Non-Confidential Employee as defined by University policies on Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Interpersonal Violence and Stalking. High school graduation or GED. One year of experience performing custodial services and set up of furniture and equipment in a public use facility. Equipment and processes used in cleaning large buildings. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

This job requires a class "C" operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
$40,000 + depending on qualifications
Uniforms and/or personal protection equipment (furnished). May work in all weather conditions. Use of manual dexterity. Climbing of stairs. Climbing of ladders. Lifting and moving. Work hours are extremely variable. May be scheduled to work any eight hours in a twenty-four hour period, and any five days of a seven-day week. May be required to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. Overtime work may be required.
