SDSU Facilities & Services is in search of motivated and dependable individuals to join our cleaning team as Facility Workers. No prior professional cleaning experience is needed. You bring your willingness to learn, and we will equip you with all the training and tools to complete the job. This posting will be used to fill multiple positions with various shift times available. Certain shifts may qualify for a $1.25/hour shift differential.Job Responsibilities: Provide cleaning services to SDSU Academic and Athletic Buildings and to promote a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and the public. The work duties will include hard and soft surface floor maintenance, restroom care, classroom and office detailing, building security, trash handling, as well as some exterior and miscellaneous maintenance tasks. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge: Knowledge of or willingness to learn how to operate basic computer software applications and various electronic systems. Skill and Ability: Applicants must be able to read and write; follow oral and written instructions; stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch, climb ladders, twist and walk; and lift up to 50 pounds.Required License:Valid driver’s license is required for all shifts other than the evening shift 3PM – 11PM and night shift 10PM – 6:30AM.
