Job Summary

 

Community Athletic Game Day Operation/Events assistant to work under the direction of the Athletic Director and Coaching Staff in all aspects of GSC hosted events.

 

Responsibilities

 

Duties include but are not limited to the following: facility set up and break down, ticketing, concessions, event management staffing, break down and post-event clean up.

 

Required Qualifications

 

Must be enrolled at Gordon State College in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated to represent GSC Athletics in a positive manner.
Must be able to work evenings, and/or weekends as needed. Flexible schedules are available.

Preferred Qualifications

 

A desired interest to work in the sports industry is appreciated, but not necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

 

Good communication and time management skills are assumed qualities of every successful candidate.

Willingness to perform required manual labor (lifting, carrying, long periods of standing and/or walking), and other duties as assigned.

Candidates should be comfortable in front of large crowds, be willing to work with people, be a team player, and follow through with tasks assigned to them.

Pay rate - $11.00/hr.
