ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The position reports to the Associate Athletics Director - Business Operations. Primary responsibilities include oversight of all aspects and daily operations of the ordering, receiving, distribution and accounting for equipment and apparel purchases with the corporate sponsorship/Adidas contract for the Athletic Department. This position will also assist with the Athletic Department financial operations including but not limited to expense reimbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable and purchasing card processing.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

• Overseeing ordering, invoicing, inventory of Adidas equipment/apparel.
• Assist with expense reimbursements, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Assist with compiling financial information for annual NCAA audit and various reports as requested by NCAA, Horizon League, etc..
• Assist with documentation for departmental expenditures.
• Assist with purchase of promotional items, as requested by Athletics Marketing staff to promote UWGB Athletics

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent at time of application
• 2 years of work experience in the business setting
• Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, database) and the Internet
• Working knowledge of inventory practices and procedures

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous work experience in a purchasing department, equipment room, university athletic department or sports organization
• Associate¿s Degree in Sports Administration, Accounting or related field

SPECIAL NOTES:

Position is a full-time University Staff appointment. The work hours for this position will be 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.This position may have the option to work on-campusor a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request.

SALARY INFORMATION

Hourly wage range of $22.00 - 24.00.

This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

We participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS), where employer contributions begin immediately and employees are fully vested after 5 years of service. The UW System also provides supplemental retirement savings programs including a 403(b) and Deferred Compensation.

In addition, employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually. Employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.
