Position Summary:
The Football Analyst is responsible for a myriad of tasks including but not limited to analyzing and producing reports on designated areas within the football program. This position provides support to the offensive, defensive and or special teams coaches and units as assigned.
Essential Functions:
· Responsible for overall game day preparation, statistical analysis, video analysis of opposing teams.
· Analyze opposing team strategy and propose strategic plays.
· Identify determine and breakdown specific game content, creating a detailed description of each play as required.
· Create reports and summaries that provide detailed analysis for the assigned position coaches and players
· Collaborate, organize, and create playbooks for the assigned position coaches in a mult-media format.
· Assist with practicing planning.
· Analyze strategies utilized amongst Power 5 football programs and stay abreast of innovative technology.

Qualifications:
· Work generally requires organizational, analytical and communication skills normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program
· A minimum of 2 years of working within a collegiate or high school football program – preferably Division I OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF REVELANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Knowledge of football offensive/defensive schemes, practice and game plans, offensive/defensive playbooks, and game books at the Division I collegiate level
· Expertise using roster management software and recruiting management software.

Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
Work requires one year of experience in program administration or OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
