The Football Analyst is a non-coaching position responsible for providing the assistant coaches with information designed to improve the efficiency and success of the football program on the field and to enhance the effectiveness of the assistant coaches recruiting responsibilities. This position will be responsible for creating statistical reports resulting from in-depth research using various analytical platforms and film breakdown. The research presented to the coaching staff will be scrutinized with the intent of improving game production aiding the ultimate goal of winning on the field. The recruiting responsibilities will include identifying, researching, and reviewing prospective student-athletes by reviewing national recruiting lists, monitoring social media habits and communications, and reviewing film to inform the coaches allowing the coaches to pursue appropriate prospects. This position will also play a vital role in the on campus recruiting process of prospective football student-athletes, filling the void when assistant coaches are not available. The Football Analyst position is designed to be administrative in nature with focus on the individual positions on the field as it relates to the position coach responsible for those positions and held by an individual with previous experience, either playing, coaching, or recruiting the sport of football.

There is a preferred candidate for this position.
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years)
Strong familiarity and background with the sport of football with a preference for experience at the Division I or professional level as a player, coach, or recruiting
Some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations
Demonstrated knowledge of the
NCAA
rules and a commitment to adhere to all rules and regulations of the University and the
NCAA
Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer software knowledge
Effective organization and administrative skills
