The Football Equipment Manager will oversee all equipment needs for
UIW
Football as it pertains to all practices and games. The position will manage all equipment and apparel operations. This position reports to the Director of Football Operations.

Job Duties

| Description of Job Duties |
- Manage the football equipment area including equipment purchase, receiving, fitting, distribution, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Analyze the apparel and equipment needs for the football program. Ensure that all athletes are fitted with proper equipment/ apparel for games and practices.
- Analyze and determine the best purchasing option in the selection and ordering of team apparel. Oversee vendor relationship with Adidas for the athletic department.
- Manage the travel operations for equipment for all away games.
- Ensure that all equipment is in compliance with safety regulations and NCAA guidelines.
- Work alongside the Director of Football Operations in creating and adhering to the equipment budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
| Knowledge Skills and Abilities |
- Knowledgeable of NCAA rules.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

| Required Education |
Bachelor’s Degree.
|
| Required Work Experience |
Two (2) years of equipment management experience, to include making buying decisions and ordering team apparel.

| Preferred Qualifications |
AEMA certification.
|
| Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations |
Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW.
|
| Work Hours |
Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm with some flexibility based on sport schedule, to include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
|
| Physical Demands |
Ability to lift heavy objects (50-75 lbs.) repeatedly.
