What We Want
The purpose of this position is to educate future coaches in foundational principles in Collegiate Football Strength and Conditioning, provide hands-on experience in coaching, operating performance technology, and much more.
What you need to know
Monetary compensation for this position will be discussed upon hiring and requires a one-year commitment to the Texas A&M Football program.
Salary: Commensurate based on selected candidates' education and experience.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in college athletics setting working directly with student athletes.
Required Experience Required Licenses and Certifications:
Actively pursuing or obtained a degree in an Exercise Science related degree, working towards a certification with a recognized governing body, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic lifting and Powerlifting movements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) or National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Potential candidates must possess a strong work ethic and character, great energy and enthusiasm, in addition to the ability to demonstrate effective organization and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move light, medium or heavy objects with assistance.
Responsibilities
Safety:
Assists staff in the implementation of assigned sports performance programs. Sets up and breaks down training equipment. Maintains and upkeeps the facilities to ensure a safe training environment.
Coaching:
Actively coaches and teaches and demonstrates proper movement and lifting technique. Coaches small training groups independently.
Compliance:
Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised.
