What we want
The purpose of this position is to educate future coaches in foundational principles in Collegiate Football Strength and Conditioning, provide hands-on experience in coaching, operating performance technology, and much more. Monetary compensation for this position will be discussed upon hiring and requires a one year commitment to the Texas A&M Football program.

Required Education and Experience
Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a college athletics setting.
Current certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) orNational Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Actively pursuing or obtained a degree in an Exercise Science related degree, working towards a certification with a recognized governing body, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic lifting and Powerlifting movements.
Potential candidates must possess a strong work ethic and character, great energy and enthusiasm, in addition to the ability to demonstrate effective organization and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Safety - Assists staff in the implementation of assigned sports performance programs. Sets up and breaks down training equipment. Maintains and upkeeps the facilities to ensure a safe training environment.
Compliance - Maintains continual and thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Establishes and ensures communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all staff members and student workers supervised.
​ Coaching - Actively coaches and teaches, and demonstrates proper movement and lifting technique. Coaches small training groups independently. Performs other duties as assigned.
