Alabama State University, Intercollegiate Athletics, invites applications to fill the Football Video Coordinator position. This position holds responsibility for producing high quality video content for Alabama State University Football Program. The selected candidate will shoot, edit and deliver on-field content, PSAs, social media, behind the scenes features and other content as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit practice and game film on specific sports system (DVSport Software) for coaches and student-athletes including, but not limited to data breakdown, cutup, overlays, headigns, reports
• Shoot, edit, and deliver high quality video content, extensive be hid the scenes content, innovative social media content, entertaining long-form features that showcase the world-class student-athlete experiences at ASU , and high energy videos
• Video record practice sessions
• Exchange game film with all conference and non-conference opponents
• Purchase and maintain upkeep of new video and computer equipment, and video games
• Stay up to date on industry trends and ensure that ASU remains at the forefront of the digital media landscape
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, 3 years of relevant experience (experience with interchangeable lenses cameras, advanced camera support systems to include sliders and gimbals, shooting video in a cinematic style, professional lighting, grip and audio equipment, experience with non-linear editing systems, experience with motion graphics programs, experience with graphics programs) or combination of education and relevant experience, proven ability to design and deliver video production with in a fast paced technologically-advanced environment and to deliver quality projects on time, knowledge of, and passion for football and the rich traditions at Alabama State University - Demo** reel of relevant projects is required.** Must be proficient with Adobe Premiere CC, FCP writing, camera operations, sound recording, lighting color grading etc., working knowledge of Creative Cloud - Adobe After Effects , Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Speed Grate,have experience working in higher education and/or sports related field, andbe available to work weekends, holidays, nights and travel throughout the season as needed are required.
