Under the direction of the Head Athletic Performance Coach and Director of Athletics, this role manages the Forrest Fitness Center and collaborates with Head Coaches on individual and team strength and conditioning workout plans. The position ensures high-quality, inclusive, and engaging programming while providing leadership for student employees and contributing to the department’s strategic goals.

E = Essential Duties
Any combination equivalent to: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Exercise Science, Sports Management, or related field and one year of graduate or undergraduate level experience (e.g., graduate or undergraduate student assistantship) with strength and conditioning or a fitness center. Must be a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Exercise Science, Sports Management or related field.
Some weekends & evenings required.
Seeing to read appropriate written correspondence; hearing and speaking to exchange information in person and on the telephone; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; pushing, pulling or lifting light objects; bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching to store or retrieve records; lifting up to 50 pounds
Working environment includes both indoors and outdoors; exposure to various weathers conditions, including temperature extremes; Indoor work environment may note be air conditioned during hot weather; subject to vehicle operation to conduct work; travel is required; frequent weekend and evening hours is required. Constant interruptions; occasional contact with dissatisfied individuals.
