Reporting to the Director of Athletics, this role is responsible for the overall direction and management of the Athletic Compliance Program. This position is will serve as the primary NCAA compliance officer with direct responsibility for coordinating and monitoring the athletics department's NCAA, conference, and institutional rules Athletic Compliance Program. Specific duties include: monitoring compliance systems, NCAA and CIAA rules education, rules interpretations, investigation of NCAA rules violations, and the administration of NCAA appeals, waivers and reports. Additional duties include administrating the National Letter of Intent program and NCAA Eligibility Center. This individual will also serve as departmental liaison to the Financial Aid, Registrar, and Admissions Departments. In addition, as the SWA, will assist the Athletics Director in educating individuals and acting as an advocate on issues important to students, coaches and staff. The position will also supervise the sports of bowling, softball and volleyball.

Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day. Some lifting (up to 25 pounds occasionally), bending, and carrying. Specific vision abilities include the ability to use close vision. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.

Demonstrated extensive and successful experience in Athletics, higher education administration, and management.
