Dakota Wesleyan University, a member of the NAIA and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), is currently seeking applications for a Full-Time Assistant Soccer Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month position responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the men’s and women’s soccer programs. The two programs and head coaches regularly collaborate, creating a balanced schedule that allows this position to fulfill both coaching duties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist both programs in the planning and execution of practice session plans and off-season training programs.
• Assist both programs in coaching a designated skill development area and/or group of positions, with preference to training goalkeepers.

• Assist both programs in gameday preparations (home and away), including facility preparation and maintenance, communication with opposing coaches and travel staff, communication with referees, travel arrangements (hotels, meals, and transportation), and equipment management.
• Assist both programs in the recruiting and enrollment process, including recruit database management, communication with recruits, and coordination and finalization of campus visits.
• Assist both programs in fundraising and community service efforts.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and previous college playing experience. While not required, previous college coaching experience and/or goalkeeper experience is preferred. Successful candidates should display strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, demonstrate passion and joy for the game of soccer, and have a proven commitment to the mission and values of DWU.
