The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.

The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA) seeks energetic, service-driven, and professional individuals to serve as Gameday Ambassadors for Navy Athletics. This is a seasonal, part-time position ideal for those looking to gain hands-on experience in athletic development, premium event execution, ticketing, and donor relations. Gameday Ambassadors will provide vital support for the game day operations and management of all premium seating and hospitality spaces. Acting as goodwill ambassadors to Navy Athletics donors, prospects, and special guests, individuals in this role ensure a high-level hospitality experience while implementing operational and access policies set forth by the Athletic Development team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Athletic Development and Event Management teams with the operational setup, execution, and breakdown of premium seating and hospitality venues during Navy Athletics game days, including Navy Football, Navy Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Navy Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse.
Provide exceptional, high-level customer service to all premium seating guests and donors while maintaining a service-first, welcoming, and solution-minded attitude.
Maintain the exclusivity of premium hospitality areas, suites, and clubs by monitoring entry points, reviewing credentials or tickets, and politely enforcing venue access policies.
Present exceptional interpersonal skills when with multiple constituent groups on game days, including NAAA staff, donors, caterers, and external vendors.
Perform all pre-game, in-game, and post-game operational duties specific to assigned premium spaces.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience, Education, & Certification(s)
Bachelor's Degree, or working towards it;
Prior experience in event planning, hospitality, development, athletics administration, or a related field preferred; relevant internship or volunteer experience considered.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail;
Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team setting;
Ability to work nights and weekends for events throughout the year; and
Have a strong work ethic while working in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship.
Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Work Conditions/Physical Requirements
This job requires employees to function in a high activity and heavily crowded indoor/outdoor sports venue.
This job requires flexibility and adaptability in schedule and the ability to perform job-related duties on short notice
Exposure to adverse weather conditions and seasonal temperatures
Comfortable working on feet for long periods in a crowded, fast-paced environment (6-8 hours).
Hand and finger dexterity (e.g., handling mobile devices)

Minimal travel required; duties are primarily focused on-site at local Navy Athletics home venues.

Pay Range
$25 per hour; This is a seasonal, event-based, hourly position.
