Sports Information Director.
Located in South Carolina’s breathtaking Lowcountry, USCB competes in NCAA Division II and continues to build championship-caliber programs while providing exceptional student-athlete experience. The Game Day Coordinator, Asst. Sports Information Director plays a vital role in the success and visibility of USCB Athletics by coordinating exceptional home athletic events while leading digital media initiatives that promote our teams, coaches, and student-athletes.
From the opening whistle to the final buzzer—and every social media post in between—you’ll help create memorable experiences for fans while showcasing the achievements of Sand Shark Athletics throughout the region and beyond.

Game Days Are Different Here
No two days are ever the same.
One day you’ll be coordinating a home basketball game, ensuring every detail is ready before tipoff. The next, you’ll be creating highlight videos, capturing championship moments, producing engaging social media campaigns, or celebrating the academic and athletic achievements of Sand Shark student-athletes.
This role includes evening, weekend, and holiday work during athletic seasons and requires flexibility to support competitions, tournaments, and special athletic events throughout the year.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Master’s degree preferred. Experience in the NCAA DI, DII, DIII or the NAIA.

| Knowledge/Skills/Abilities |
Demonstrated knowledge of sport rules and regulations as well as NCAA DII rules and regulations. Superior oral and written communication skills; effective organization and communication skills; strong computer skills. Strong knowledge of media platforms, video editing, and graphic design tools. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, colleagues, student-athletes and subordinates.

Supervise and schedule game day staff for ticketing, concessions, and event support. Serve as the primary on-site contact for officials, visiting teams, and event staff to ensure smooth operations.
