Video Board Operator

Video Board Operator 

Brief Job Description:  The position will be required to arrive prior to the game and follow the game day script as directed by the staff.

Security Customer Service

Brief Job Description:  The position will be required to arrive prior to the game and direct guests.

PA Announcer

Brief Job Description: 

• Responsible for announcing all in arena reads including: sponsor promotions, player introductions, goals, penalties, intermission reports, and other announcements as needed.

• Coordinates with officials to determine penalties and game related information, 

• Communicates game and event information to Game Manager.

• Assist with operational support and various production mediums, including: podcasts, social media, web, radio/TV, etc. all as directed by management. 

• Serve as primary PA announcer  

Requirements: 

• Ability to adapt to quickly changing game situations
• Great communication and listening skills

Video Camera Operator 

Brief Job Description:  The position will be required to arrive prior to the game and follow the game.

In-game stating or spotting

Brief Job Description:  The position will be required to arrive prior to the game and follow the game and record stats or assist the statistician in the role.

Game Day Ticket Sales

Brief Job Description:  The position will be required to arrive prior to the game and sell tickets using our ticket software or scan tickets before and during the game.

Mascot

Brief Job Description:  
Minot State University’s Athletics Department is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to fill our Mascot during the 2021-22 academic year.  The individuals inside the mascot costume will be required to meet numerous home games, community events and functions during the 9 months academic year. Buckshot (the mascot) participates in all in-game promotions & events, including but not limited to; pregame and postgame promotions, media stoppages, and other duties as assigned.  

Preferred Position Requirements 

• Candidates must be a minimum of 5’ 8’’ due to the height of the mascot costume  

• Available to work scheduled home games including evenings, weekends  

• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Fan-friendly attitude and willingness to help 

• Comfortable working with children 

• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment  

• Ability to walk up and down stairs
