Serves as Main Point of Contact regarding Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities and serves as the main University liaison with all Collectives and player agents. Leads in the management to identify and facilitate NIL opportunities for Student-Athletes in compliance with NCAA regulations and institutional policies. Coordinates with related Collectives on messaging and content, and assists in fundraising, as well as the execution and planning of special events.

Transfer Portal Management

Monitors the transfer portal and evaluates potential transfer Student-Athletes to construct men’s basketball roster; communicates with players, representatives/agents, family members and coaches; evaluates requirements for eligibility and integration into the Men’s Basketball program and the University.

Develops Men’s Basketball program themes and messaging for internal and external communications via print, audio and video components.

Alumni Relations

Engages former players to build alumni support and foster involvement, including the organization of events, mentorship with current players and creating networking opportunities with former players.

Fundraising

Identifies fundraising opportunities and cultivates relationships with supporters and donors in concert with the Men’s Basketball Head Coach.

Recruiting

Actively participates in on-campus and off-campus recruiting as part of a six-man staff rotation.

Typical Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Preferred

Required: 1-2 years in professional or intercollegiate athletics or equivalent experience; preferred 3-5 years of experience within the professional or intercollegiate athletics fields, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

| Possess exceptionally strong organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Handle highly confidential material. The ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data. Remains current, interprets and complies with all Federal, State, NCAA Conference and University rules and regulations pertaining to Athletic Compliance and other related business operations.
