The Men’s Basketball General Manager will play a key role in the program, serving the Head Coach and Assistant Coaching staff in managing a wide range of responsibilities including Name Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities and liaison with Collectives; transfer portal management; recruit, family, agent, alumni player relationships; professional player programs; and program fundraising.
Serves as Main Point of Contact regarding Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities and serves as the main University liaison with all Collectives and player agents. Leads in the management to identify and facilitate NIL opportunities for Student-Athletes in compliance with NCAA regulations and institutional policies. Coordinates with related Collectives on messaging and content, and assists in fundraising, as well as the execution and planning of special events.

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Preferred
Required: 1-2 years in professional or intercollegiate athletics or equivalent experience; preferred 3-5 years of experience within the professional or intercollegiate athletics fields, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.

| Possess exceptionally strong organization, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Handle highly confidential material. The ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data. Remains current, interprets and complies with all Federal, State, NCAA Conference and University rules and regulations pertaining to Athletic Compliance and other related business operations.
