On Campus
Identifies and cultivates relationships with donor prospects, both individuals and organizations, at the leadership annual giving and major gift level, develops and implements fundraising plans and works collaboratively with other

Foundation staff members to meet predefined gift contribution goals through donor cultivation and stewardship activities.
Serves as a University Advancement’s fundraising liaison to the College of Education, Business and Allied Health and other internal and external constituencies.
Identifies, promotes, and maintains donor relationships and identifies solicitation opportunities specifically designed for the generation of gifts to reach program and university funding goals.
Develops and manages a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects with the capacity to give at the $10,000-plus level.
Works in partnership with the
UWRF
Director of Athletics, coaches and staff to identify, prioritize and support key fundraising projects, programs and positions.
Conducts approximately 150 meaningful visits with gift prospects and donors each year.
Provides coordination and support for assigned fundraising initiatives, including campaigns and capital projects at the university and college/unit level.
Coordinates the involvement of appropriate faculty, staff and volunteers in the donor cultivation and solicitation process.
Participates in campus, donor, alumni relations and athletic events to increase the involvement of prospective benefactors. prospect portfolios, evaluates existing strategy and recommends improvements to leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of one year fundraising experience in an organization with a comprehensive development program, or related sales/customer service experience.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as the position requires.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years of direct fundraising experience.
Familiarity with development programs, particularly in higher education.
Appreciation for and commitment to higher education, particularly in the fields of education, business and allied health.
A strong connection to UW-River Falls.
