Prepare women’s ice hockey goalies for game situations through coaching the position during
practice or in individual goalie session.

| Major Responsibilities |
Understanding of, and adherence to, the Utica University Athletic Department philosophy.
When appropriate assist with the recruitment and retention of current and prospective students
giving them an opportunity to perform, and better themselves as athletes and individuals.
Plan and run goalie practices sessions to ensure students are organized, prepared and have the
ability to safely execute the goalie position.
Provide leadership to ensure that students have a positive experience.
When appropriate, assist with monitoring students’ academic success, providing/seeking
academic direction when necessary.

| Education & Experience Qualifications |
Associate degree or greater preferred.
3-5 years coaching experience in the goalie position.
Must be certified in first aid, CPR and AED.

| Minimum Skills/Abilities |
Working knowledge of ice hockey and the skills associated with the goalie position.
Interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work with diversified groups.
