to serve as a Graduate Assistant for the University’s Division II Athletic Training Department. The candidate will report to the Head Athletic Trainer and serve a 10-month annual appointment.
*Game Day and event planning.
*Assist in the oversight and execution of the department’s sanitation and safety efforts.
*Assisting the Head AT in daily office operations.
*Assisting the Head AT the execution of necessary administrative detail within the athletic department.
*Assisting the Head AT with training room detail that can free the certified AT staff for more seamless time frames for treatment and rehabilitation.
*Assisting in the department’s fundraising efforts and community service activities.
Assist with games & practices for first aid and hydration needs.
*Registered and enrolled in a graduate degree program at Glenville State University.
*An undergraduate degree.
*Excellent leadership skills.
*Sound interpersonal skills.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Solid written and verbal skills.
*Basic computer literacy.
First aid & CPR certified.
This position includes;
*Lodging in campus housing.
*$1000 food stipend in the campus dining hall ($500 per semester).
*$4000 salary stipend ($2000 per semester).
*One graduate class per semester to be paid for – valued at $1434 per semester and $2868 per year.
*Must be registered for at least nine hours per semester.
