Graduate Assistant for Athletics Operations & Facilities.
The Graduate Assistant will assist the Athletic Administration with the day-to-day operations of the department including, but not limited to Internal Operations, Compliance, and External Relations.
The Graduate Assistant hired will receive 9 graduate credits per semester through The School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Elizabethtown College.
Support the daily operations of the athletics department in collaboration with the Director of Athletics and Assistant Athletic Director .
Event Management: Serve as game manager for home athletic events, ensuring that the facilities are prepared for athletic events.
Support the Assistant Athletic Director with
NCAA
Compliance functions.
Supervision of student employees to work athletic events.
Provide administrative support in transportation scheduling and planning, and scheduling of departmental athletic contests and practices.
Effectively promote an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment for all.
Adhere to all college policies including, but not limited to, specific duties as a Campus Security Authority (
CSA
) and Responsible Employee.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree is required and successful admission into Elizabethtown College’s graduate program; prior practical experience in athletics facility operations and management; and/or an understanding of the intercollegiate athletics landscape and its operational responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
This position also requires a valid and unrestricted driver’s license for business travel purposes (individual must have a US driver’s license for at least three years) and background clearances.
