Baseball Graduate Assistant

Point University is a private institution that educates our students within a Christian
worldview so they are equipped to take their faith into the marketplace and all of life
while achieving their professional goals. We are training the next generation of
Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations
than ever before.

Point University is in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. The Baseball Graduate
Assistant will provide support in all facets of the Point University baseball program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Head JV coach, assist with Varsity
offensive scheme, assist with Outfielders or Catchers, ability to throw quality BP and hit
quality fungos, study hall supervision, assist with fundraising, recruiting, field
maintenance, and strength and conditioning supervision.

This position is a 2-year commitment and the applicant must be accepted and enrolled
in Masters level courses at Point University during their employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
• Must have background in coaching outfielders. Must be able to throw quality

batting practice and hit quality fungos.
