• Maintenance of Baseball Equipment

  • Responsible to keeping an accurate inventory of all baseball equipment and uniforms
  • Responsible for proper care of equipment and uniforms

• Assist in the implementation of the recruitment and retention strategies of the baseball program.

• Maintenance of Baseball Equipment

  • Responsible to keeping an accurate inventory of all baseball equipment and uniforms

• Assist in the implementation of the recruitment and retention strategies of the baseball program.

  • Identify and communicate with baseball prospective student-athletes with the intention of having them enroll at CUC
  • Support rostered student-athletes academically, athletically, and emotionally during the transition to CUC, as well as during their enrollment at CUC.

• Oversee the growth and development of student-athletes in the skills necessary for specific position(s) within the baseball program

  • Develop practice strategies to improve the skill development of student-athletes

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong administrative skills, including related computer and technology skills
• Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Enthusiastic supporter of Lutheran higher education and Concordia University Chicago
• Recruiting experience
• Played college baseball
• Organization skills to complete tasks on time as requested

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant – Baseball. This position reports directly to the Head Baseball Coach and is located in River Forest, IL.

The Baseball Graduate Assistant supports the college's baseball program by assisting with coaching, player development, and administrative tasks, while also pursuing a graduate degree. This position plays a key role in fostering student-athlete success both on and off the field, contributing to the overall goals of the athletic department. It serves as a vital link between coaching staff and players, helping to implement training plans, analyze performance, and maintain program operations.

Candidates must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a Concordia University Chicago graduate program.
