Under the direction of the Head and Assistant Athletic Trainer for Club Sports, this position will prevent, treat and rehabilitate athletic related injuries and provide the highest level of health care to all club student-athletes. The employee is required to be accepted to and matriculate through a graduate program at GCU. The Graduate Assistant position offers a full master’s degree tuition waiver.

What you will do:
Apply NowPrevention, assessment and treatment of athletic related injuries sustained by club student athletes.
Develop therapeutic exercise protocols for injuries sustained by club student athletes.
Render first aid to student athletes to include wound care and / or life threatening conditions.
Consults either Head AT or Assistant ATs before referral to medical physician as result of injury or illness sustained by student athletes.
Coverage of teams as assigned by Head AT and their various events hosted by GCU club sports.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
0-3 years’ relevant experience.
Certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) of Athletic Trainers.
Current Arizona Licensure required.
CPR, AED Certified.
Must be accepted into a Grand Canyon University graduate program.
