Job Summary

Applicants should be driven to learn and eager to support the coaching staff in supporting the SAs.

Job responsibilities:

• 50% player development, classroom/study hall checks, keeping SAs informed of team activities
• 25% Administrative Support with team travel, meals, logistics
• 25% Administrative support with team/player scheduling.

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for an assistantship, students must meet the following criteria.

• Students admitted provisionally to a program are not eligible for an assistantship.
• Earned a Bachelor¿s degree.
• Have applied for and been accepted to a graduate degree program of study at UWG.
• Be enrolled as a full-time student in a graduate program of study.
• Have maintained a 3.0 GPA in previous and current graduate course work.
• Meet the requirements to be eligible for employment in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate Assistant should have previous college player and/or coaching experience.

• General physical fitness is required to be able to operate on the court during practice drills.
